Educomunicación e inteligencia artificial: Una exploración en tiempos de inquietudes digitales

Abstract

En este trabajo ubicamos el fenómeno de la inteligencia artificial (IA) dentro del contexto de la llamada “educación 4.0”, del cual enumeramos algunos elementos clave. Proponemos un enfoque educomunicativo que no solo analiza las implicaciones tecnológicas, sino que también considera a los actores educomunicativos, los mensajes y el entorno cultural. Para ello, retomamos la propuesta de la “pedagogía del lenguaje total”, que nos permite redefinir algunos objetivos generales en comunicación y fomentar una nueva actitud entre los actores educomunicativos, en función de las líneas de conversación planteadas en este estudio. En este sentido, consideramos fundamental integrar perspectivas mediológicas y ecológicas, que han demostrado ser útiles para reflexionar sobre las implicaciones de las mutaciones tecnológicas. Este trabajo propone elementos para una conversación, y se estructura en varias partes: 1. la identificación de semejanzas y diferencias entre las distintas medioesferas en las etapas de cambio tecnológico (definidas como educación 1.0, 2.0, etc.); 2. la enumeración de algunos elementos constitutivos de la IA, con el fin de distinguir qué es y qué no es; 3. la actualización del debate entre “apocalípticos e integrados”, presentando una primera lista de posibilidades y riesgos asociados a la IA; y 4. el planteamiento de preguntas y discusiones que permitan organizar los niveles de abstracción en los que la IA puede ser analizada, con especial énfasis en la perspectiva de los actores educomunicativos.
