Der Kinder- und Jugendgesundheitssurvey (KiGGS): Ein Überblick über Planung, Durchführung und Ergebnisse unter Berücksichtigung von Aspekten eines Qualitätsmanagements

Abstract

Der Kinder- und Jugendgesundheitssurvey (KiGGS) hatte zum Ziel, durch eine bundesweite reprasentative Untersuchung und Befragung von Kindern und Jugendlichen im Alter von 0–17 Jahren die Datenlage zur Gesundheit der heranwachsenden Generation in Deutschland zu verbessern und Informationslucken zu schliesen. Von Mai 2003 bis Mai 2006 nahmen 17.641 Jungen und Madchen an 167 Orten der Bundesrepublik an der Studie teil und lieferten gemeinsam mit den Angaben ihrer Eltern einen einzigartigen Pool von Informationen. Unter Aspekten des Qualitatsmanagements erfolgt eine Beschreibung der Planung, der Strukturen, des effizienten Mitteleinsatzes, der Durchfuhrung und der geplanten Auswertung des Kinder- und Jugendgesundheitssurveys. Dabei wird die erreichte Qualitat durch den Vergleich des tatsachlich Erreichten mit den gesetzten Zielen bewertet. Auf diese Weise kann ein umfassender Uberblick uber den Kinder- und Jugendgesundheitssurvey in seinem Anliegen, dem modularen Aufbau, die beteiligten Kooperationspartner, die finanzierenden Institutionen, die flankierenden Kontrollmasnahmen und die Auswertungsstrategien gegeben werden. Gleichzeitig wird der Bezug der Einzelpublikationen im Schwerpunktheft 5/6 2007 des Bundesgesundheitsblattes zueinander und zum Gesamtanliegen hergestellt.
