Abstract

Le présent article évalue les effets de 15 scénarios visant à améliorer l’inclusivité du réseau de transport public bruxellois en ce qui concerne l’accès à la ville pour les personnes en situation de handicap. Basés sur une conception améliorée des arrêts de surface et souterrains ainsi que des véhicules, ces scénarios mettent l’accent sur l’accessibilité sans lacune et sur le marquage podotactile. L’étude montre que les améliorations sont très hétérogènes d’un scénario à l’autre, en fonction du niveau d’ambition (et donc du coût), mais aussi des points de départ et d’arrivée. Les meilleurs scénarios sont ceux qui permettent d’améliorer à la fois les principaux nœuds de transport et l’ensemble du réseau souterrain, contrairement à ceux qui prévoient des améliorations éparses dans la ville ou limitées à certains itinéraires en surface.
