KHITHABAH SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA (MAHARAH AL-KALAM) MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN BAHASA ARAB IAIN JEMBER

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab khususnya pada keterampilan berbicara kepada penutur non Arab banyak menjumpai kendala. Keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab merupakan kemampuan aktif produktif bagi penutur non Arab. Salah satu teknik untuk mengefektifkan dan mengefisiensi pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab dengan strategi khithabah (Pidato). Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Prosedur pelaksanaannya terdapat beberapa siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus, siklus I dan siklus II. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara dan catatan lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti bahwa proses pembelajaran dengan melewati dua siklus serta adanya pre-test dan pos-test dapat berpengaruh pada keterampilan berbicara (maharah al-kalam) melalui strategi khithabah pada mahasiswa Prodi PBA FTIK IAIN Jember. Berdasarkan pada kondisi mahasiswa saat proses pembelajaran khithabah mulai dari pra-tindakan, siklus I, siklus II, dan post-test. Adapun jumlah skor pada siklus pertama yaitu 492,9 meningkat menjadi 524 pada siklus kedua sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa PBA melalui strategi khithabah mengalami peningkatan sebesar 31,1.
