Abstract

Los procesos de desinformación política generan un impacto significativo en la democracia al manipular los temas presentes de la agenda, desviar el sentido de las conversaciones políticas en entornos digitales y socavar la credibilidad tanto de líderes políticos como de la ciudadanía. Durante los períodos electorales, el uso de herramientas basadas en inteligencia artificial se intensifica, al tiempo que las estrategias para producir desinformación se vuelven más sofisticadas gracias a la incorporación de tecnologías generativas, accesibles hoy en día para cualquier usuario.En este artículo se realiza, con herramientas de la sociosemiótica y desde las teorías de la mediatización política, una indagación de las piezas audiovisuales que utilizan inteligencia artificial y circulan por las redes sociales. Se utilizará, a modo de ilustración de los distintos modos de representación del material audiovisual alterado, un análisis del período de campaña electoral 2023 argentino. El objetivo es indagar en los modos de mediatización y desinformación de las publicaciones realizadas con inteligencia artificial.
