THE IMMUNOLOGIC STATUS OF CHILDREN WITH PURULENT-SEPTIC DISEASES AT THE STAGE OF HOSPITALIZATION

Abstract

The paper has studied the immunological parameters of 444 children with purulent-septic diseases (acute purulent destructive pneumonia –220 children, peritonitis – 110, acute hematogenous osteomyelitis – 114) aged from 1 to 14 years. Purulent-septic diseases in children are accompanied with secondary immunodeficiency during the first circadian period: the level of CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD16+, CD25+ being significantly lower than in the control group, immunodeficiency being more pronounced in case of severe forms.
