Abstract

Introduction. Shooting horting is a new type of shooting sport, which was created on the basis of applied shooting, is its simplified and safer version. Therefore, the competitive activity in these two sports is approximate, but they have certain differences. It is because of this and the limited information regarding competitive activity in shooting horting and in the further development of this sport that we consider it necessary to highlight this topic. The article reveals the features of competitive activity in shooting horting. The relevance of the study lies in the systematization of knowledge about the methods of conducting, types and organization of competitions in this sport. The Purpose of the Work is to establish the features of competitive activity in shooting horting. Materials and methods of research: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, theoretical analysis and generalization, systematic analysis, comparison. Research Results and Conclusions. An author's classification scheme for sports competitions in shooting horting is proposed, which is built on the basis of established features: the level of skill of shooters, scale, article, by type of exercises, professional orientation, form of scoring, age category of participants, by type of weapon, method of scoring. The features of the competition program in this sport are highlighted. A wide variability of competition methods and the absence of clear regulation are established. The criteria for division are age, gender, professional affiliation, type of weapon, method of scoring and the level of skill of shooters. Diversity consists in constant changes in routes, scenarios, number of shots, shelters and penalty lines, use of an armed hand, priority of targets. This approach serves to establish the level of development of special shooting skills and abilities, which are characterized by wide variability in overcoming various routes and following unexpected plots. The scoring systems and the winner determination in shooting horting competitions are described. Some types of targets that can be used in shooting horting competitions are analyzed and highlighted, and their features are described: metal round targets, which in turn are divided into poppers and round biathlon-type targets, cardboard targets of two types - silhouette and small octagonal targets.
