La corporalidad limitada. Ensayo antropológico sobre la inteligencia artificial

Abstract

La tesis de este ensayo propone reconocer una de las dificultades de la inteligencia artificial en su intento de superar a la inteligencia humana. Dicha dificultad se presenta centrada en la cuestión de la metáfora como manifestación de una mente encarnada (embodied mind). El ensayo parte de la constatación de un cierto dualismo antropológico latente en la mentalidad de los pioneros de la inteligencia artificial de los años 70, según el testimonio y las entrevistas realizadas por la investigadora del MIT, Sherry Turkle. Luego sigue de cerca la teorización sobre la metáfora que hace la lingüística cognitiva de Georges Lakoff y Mark Johnson. Abreva en el tecno-optimismo y tecno-pesimismo del pensamiento de los filósofos contemporáneos Andy Clark y Eric Sadin, y en el ineludible pensamiento de Martin Heidegger.
