COMMON RAIL

Abstract

The article presents studies of changes in the stability of pressure pulsations in the fuel rail of the COMMON RAIL system depending on the variable frequency of the main drive and the volume of the fuel rail (pressure accumulator) used in stand testing. As a parameter characterizing the stability of system pressure, the duration of damped pulsations of pressure in the rail after nozzle activation is used. The model has been obtained, which allowed to determine the optimal values of the drive speed of high-pressure fuel pumps (HPFP ) and the volume of the rail.
