Abstract

Одним из наиболее частых и ранних поражений головного мозга при артериальной гипертензии являются нарушения когнитивных функций, которые со временем у большинства больных закономерно трансформируются в деменцию — тяжелую, инвалидизирующую и неизлечимую патологию. В статье приведены данные о классификации и распространенности когнитивных нарушений, сведения о механизмах их развития при артериальной гипертензии и ассоциированных с ней сердечно-сосудистых заболеваниях, методы обследования больных и методы диагностики когнитивных нарушений (специальные нейропсихиатрические тесты), современная стратегия лечения больных артериальной гипертензией с нарушениями когнитивных функций и подходы к профилактике развития данного поражения головного мозга.
