Einfluss der sprachlichen Konzeption auf die Einschätzung der Qualität instruktionaler Unterrichtserklärungen im Fach Physik

Abstract

Erklären ist eine wichtige Aktivität des Unterrichtens. Durch die notwendige sprachliche Anpassung an die Lernenden steht das Erklären im Spannungsfeld zwischen Fach- und Alltagssprache. Diese beiden Sprachvarianten unterscheiden sich neben Wort-, Satz- und Textebene auch in ihrer Konzeption. Während sich Fachsprache auch im mündlichen Gebrauch an der konzeptionellen Schriftsprachlichkeit orientiert, ist Alltagssprache eher der konzeptionellen Mündlichkeit zuzuordnen. Untersucht wird, inwiefern sich die sprachliche Konzeption auf die Einschätzung der Qualität von Unterrichtserklärungen auswirkt. Hierfür wurden Videovignetten von Erklärungen für den Physikunterricht je einmal in konzeptionell mündlicher und einmal in konzeptionell schriftlicher Form erstellt. Mithilfe eines Online-Fragebogens wurden diese von insgesamt N = 229 Lehrenden (aus Fachdidaktik oder Schule) und Lernenden (aus Schule und Universität) bewertet. Mit Interviews wurde ergänzend die Wahrnehmung einzelner Aspekte von Erklärungen durch Lernende untersucht. Der direkte Vergleich zeigt zwar systematisch unterschiedliche Einschätzungen zugunsten der konzeptionell mündlichen Erklärungen, jedoch keinen unterschiedlichen Lernzuwachs bei den Lernenden. Allerdings beeinflusst die Sprachkonzeption die Wahrnehmung anderer Qualitätskriterien, wie die der wahrgenommenen Adressatenorientierung. Damit kann die Sprachkonzeption als vielversprechender Faktor zur Erhöhung der Erklärqualität gesehen werden.
