Статья-автокомментарий: потенциал смыслов (И. С. Тургенев, И. А. Гончаров)

Abstract

Статья посвящена писательскому комментарию к своим произведениям: И. С. Тургенева – к роману Отцы и дети, И. А. Гончарова – к роману Обрыв. Оба автора выступили с пояснениями к произведениям, написанным значительно раньше, ибо спор о них продолжался и десятилетие спустя. Основные вопросы критиков и читателей были связаны с авторским отношением к герою-нигилисту: Евгению Базарову и Марку Волохову. Объясняя свою позицию, каждый писатель говорит о замысле романа, реконструирует процесс создания произведения, заново переживая его; и в то же время смотрит на созданный им текст уже со стороны. Попытка Тургенева и Гончарова объясниться с критиком и читателем «вне текста» дает возможность увидеть, какие потенциалы смысла оказываются для них наиболее важными, как соотносится это с тем, что «сказано» в самом произведении и что является «услышанным» читателем.
