La culture masculine arabe à l’épreuve du féminisme : enjeux et perspectives

Abstract

Cet article examine les thèses exposées par la critique féministe arabe de Fatima Mernissi, Nawal El-Saadawi et Raja Ben Salama. Leur objectif était de saisir les relations sociales qui influencent la nature de la culture arabe et l’état d’esprit en démantelant les institutions d’éducation et de socialisation ainsi que les schémas de pensée qui influencent la formation des comportements individuels et leur orientation selon les valeurs, les coutumes et les traditions qui perpétuent les éléments de marginalisation et d’exclusion dans différents domaines de la vie. Le système social arabe est composé d’un ensemble de schémas idéologiques ancrés dans les institutions, dont la plus importante est la famille. En même temps, c’est un prolongement qui demande une lecture et une compréhension du réseau de relations qui régit ces sociétés.
