Notice of Retraction: A COMSOL based programming-language implementation of Structure Topology optimization with stress constraints

Abstract

In the past few years, many researches have been carried out to study the structure topology optimization, while most of them focused on minimize the compliance of the structure under volume constraints or minimize the mass of the whole structure under the stress constraints separately; few researches combined these two constraints together to get the optimized structure. This paper presents a procedure to implement compliance minimization structure topology optimization with stress constraints via COMSOL based on the SIMP model. Two loops have been carried out to find the structure with minimum compliance which also satisfies the stress constraints. We use two examples to show the effectiveness of this method.
