The presented study contains data on morphological changes in the brain tissues of individuals with a detectable post-traumatic syndrome. The author suggests available methodological measures (macromicroscopic analysis of the biomaterial) for the purpose of studying them, establishing the role and possibilities of application. Attention is drawn to the expediency of determining the nature, depth and extent of the injuries received with the prospect of using diagnostic markers. Their spectrum (destruction, inflammation, infiltrative reactions, ischemia, necrosis, reduced recovery) is given in the work, pathogenetic significance, potential resources for further clinical extrapolation are elucidated.
