Les marqueurs de modalité dans les actes de langage directifs en russe

Abstract

Dans cet article, nous allons essayer de montrer que, parmi les actes de langage dits indirects, certains ont une structure assez reconnaissable, et utilisent, de façon conventionnelle, des marqueurs de modalité, combinés avec des déterminations de tout type : intonation, sémantique du verbe, temps et aspect, négation, principes pragmatiques généraux. Nous nous concentrerons sur les marqueurs de possibilité мочь ‘pouvoir’, можно ‘on peut, il est possible’, может (быть) ‘peut-être’, en contraste avec d’autres moyens d’expression : impératif, futur, etc. Nous essaierons d’abord de délimiter des notions aussi importantes que la modalité et le mode, le type de phrases, et les actes de langage. Ensuite, nous examinerons en plus grand détail une sélection d’actes de langage directifs : demander et accorder une permission, demander un service, faire une proposition, donner un conseil, prévenir. Nous commenterons aussi brièvement les reproches, menaces, promesses and protestations. Dans notre travail, nous nous appuierons essentiellement sur des exemples de corpus tiré du Corpus national russe. Notre étude ne se situe pas dans un cadre théorique précis, mais est inspirée néanmoins par les grammaires de constructions.
