Abstract

Táto duplika reaguje na texty troch autorov, ktorí kritizujú môj návrh, aby sme pri obhajobe ľudských práv používali pragmatické argumenty namiesto argumentov ontologických. Napriek skutočnosti, že väčšina kritických námietok s týmto návrhom priamo nepolemizuje, dospievam k jeho miernej modifikácii: Ak je úlohou ontológie rozšírenie sústavy presvedčení, ktoré ospravedlňujú naše pragmatické postoje, potom ontológia môže poskytovať dobré argumenty aj pri obhajobe ľudských práv. Pragmatizmus ontológiu nenahrádza, ale ju predchádza.
