Toz Metalürjisi ve Sıcak Preslemeyle Üretilen Al7075-Si3N4 Kompozitlerin Mikroyapısının ve Mekanik Özelliklerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Yapılan bu çalışmada toz metalürjisi ve sıcak presleme yöntemleriyle Al7075 matrise farklı oranlarda (ağırlıkça %1, 3, 6, 9 ve 12) Si3N4 takviye edilmiştir. Katkı oranının üretilen kompozitlerin mikroyapılarına ve mekanik özelliklerine (yoğunluk, gözeneklilik oranı, Vickers sertliği ve basma dayanımı) olan etkisi incelenmiştir. Yapılan testler sonucunda en yüksek yoğunluk (2,65 g/cm3), Vickers sertliği (205 HV), basma dayanımı (344 MPa) ve en düşük gözeneklilik oranı (%7,5) Al7075-9Si3N4 kompozitte elde edilmiştir. Mikroyapı incelemeleri sonucunda ise %9Si3N4 katkı oranında takviye partiküllerinin matris içerisinde homojene yakın bir şekilde dağıldığı belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak Al7075 matrise %9Si3N4 katkısının kompozitin mikroyapısını yoğunlaştırdığı ve mekanik özelliklerini iyileştirdiği tespit edilmiştir.
