Статья посвящена исследованию архетипических и социокультурных оснований русского иночества как культурного феномена Новгородской земли и определению его влияния на формирование духовных традиций Северо-Западного региона и России в целом. Инновационным трендом исследования является то, что практики иночества, сложившиеся в Новгородской земле, впервые в отечественной науке рассматриваются с применением методов аналитической психологии К.Г. Юнга.
