The course of pregnancy almost in half of women is complicated with a lumbopelvic pain (LPP). The article contains a comparative analysis of some biomechanical parameters in pregnant women with LPP, control groups of pregnant women without LPP and nonpregnant women (all in all, 125 examined people). On the basis of the obtained results, the following conclusions can be drawn: specific biomechanical changes, an increase of the body mass first of all, considerable changes in the position of the total mass centre, reduced strength and tolerance of the muscles are the most probable risk factors for the appearance of LPP in pregnant women.
