Design and Implementation of Reservation Management System Case Study: Grand Ville Hotels

Abstract

La gestion et la réservation de chambres dans les hôtels est une tâche fastidieuse et compliquée, surtout si elle est effectuée manuellement. Garder une trace des grands clients et de tous leurs détails nécessite un espace démesuré pour les classeurs, sans parler du temps que l'administrateur de l'hôtel passerait à aller et venir dans les classeurs afin de rechercher les informations de chaque client. C'est pourquoi un bon système de réservation d'hôtel est nécessaire pour rendre cette tâche aussi facile que possible. Ce document montre comment la tâche humaine compliquée notée peut être résolue en utilisant un système de gestion de base de données avec des langages de script et de programmation comme Html et PHP respectivement comme outils clés dans le développement d'un système de réservation d'hôtel. Le système a été développé en utilisant l'approche de développement logiciel orientée objet qui comprend l'utilisation de l'analyse orientée objet, la conception orientée objet et la programmation orientée objet. Cela a été fait afin que le logiciel développé puisse être maintenable, fiable et évolutif.

La gestión y reserva de habitaciones en hoteles es una tarea tediosa y complicada, especialmente si se realiza manualmente. Hacer un seguimiento de los grandes clientes y todos sus detalles requiere un espacio excesivo para los archivadores, sin mencionar el tiempo que el administrador del hotel pasaría yendo y viniendo a los archivadores para buscar la información de cada cliente. Es por eso que se necesita un buen sistema de reservas de hotel para que esta tarea sea lo más fácil posible. Este documento muestra cómo se puede resolver la complicada tarea humana mencionada utilizando un sistema de gestión de bases de datos junto con lenguajes de programación y scripting como Html y PHP, respectivamente, como herramientas clave en el desarrollo de un sistema de reservas de hotel. El sistema se desarrolló utilizando el enfoque de desarrollo de software orientado a objetos que incluye el uso de análisis orientado a objetos, diseño orientado a objetos y programación orientada a objetos. Esto se hizo para que el software desarrollado pueda mantenerse, ser confiable y escalable.

The management and booking of Rooms in hotels is a tedious and complicated task especially if it is done manually.Keeping track of large customers and all their details requires an inordinate space for file cabinets, not to mention the time the hotel administrator would spend going back and forth to file cabinets so as to look up each customer's information.This is why a good hotel reservation system is needed to make this task as easy as possible.This paper shows how the noted complicated human task can be solved by using a database Management System together with scripting and programming languages like Html and PHP respectively as the key tools in the development of a hotel reservation System.The system was developed using the object-oriented software development approach which includes the use of object-oriented analysis, object-oriented design and objectoriented programming.This was done so that the developed software can be maintainable, reliable and scalable.
