Abstract

En el ámbito del levantameniento 3D, el papel de los drones y cámaras estabilizadas resulta ser siempre más importante. Dado que existe la posibilidad de superar los límites representados por sitios de grabación que son normalmente inaccesibles y la oportunidad de desarrollar modelos digitales que son siempre más precisos, los aparatos de consumo como método de adquisición de datos se están confirmando como instrumentos eficaces y utilizables desde la escala arquitectónica a la territorial. En el ámbito del software, algunos programas de modelado Structure From Motion (SfM) permiten procesar videos automáticamente, seleccionando los fotogramas más adecuados para los algoritmos de procesamiento. El ámbito de aplicación elegido es la Torre de Cala Moresca, que está situada en el Monte Argentario en Toscana y fue construida por la Corona de España en el siglo XVI. Uno de los objetivos del estudio es ilustrar el flujo de trabajo adoptado para definir un modelo de reconstrucción virtual de la torre, desarrollado a partir de grabaciones realizadas desde aparatos aéreos y terrestres equipados con sensores de bajo coste y procesadas automáticamente por el respectivo programa.
