The main element of heart failure progression is extracellular matrix condition, where the fibronectin is an important component. Aim.To investigate the plasma levels of fibronectinin patients with ischemic heart failure. Methods and results. The identification of the plasma levels of fibronectin’s concentration was made by ELISA method. Conclusion. The fibronectin plasma levels are higher in patients with II-III HF (NYHA) and at presence of atrial fibrillation. The main important factors, which have influence for fibronectin concentration, are endogenous intoxication, left atrium size and end-systolic volume of left ventricle.
