PERBANDINGAN QOS DAN QOE VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN ONLINE MELALUI YOUTUBE DAN MICROSOFT STREAM PADA MAHASISWA PTIK DAN STI UNIVERSITAS NEGERI JAKARTA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan mendapatkan jawaban secara objektif dan subjektif mengenai kualitas media pemutar video Youtube dan Microsoft Stream. Pengukuran pada penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu pengukuran kualitas layanan atau QoS, dan pengukuran kualitas pengalaman atau QoE. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan teknik informatika dan komputer dan mahasiswa program studi sistem dan teknologi informasi di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dua cara berbeda, untuk pengambilan data QoS, dilakukan pengamatan terhadap video yang diputar pada media pemutar, kemudian untuk pengambilan data QoE, dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket kuesioner yang disebar kepada mahasiswa dalam bentuk skala Mean Opinion Score (MOS). Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan nilai QoS pada media pemutar Microsoft Stream lebih tinggi dari media pemutar Youtube, namun kedua media pemutar memiliki nilai sangat baik dengan menggunakan standar pengukuran TIPHON. Sedangkan hasil dari angket kuesioner menunjukan bahwa Youtube menjadi media pemutar yang lebih baik dari Microsoft Stream dengan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan MOS media pemutar Youtube sebesar 4,64 dan media pemutar Microsoft Stream sebesar 4,60. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pemutar Youtube menjadi pemutar media yang lebih baik dari Microsoft Stream dalam pengukuran QoS dan pengukuran QoE.
