
Our goal is to develop a metacomputing environment that not only allows users access to high-performance computing systems and information servers, but also enables them to develop, run, and visualize large-scale parallel and distributed applications. We call this metacomputing environment. ADViCE provides a parallel and distributed programming environment, and it also provides an efficient web-based user interface that allows users to develop, run, and visualize parallel/distributed applications running on heterogeneous computing resources connected by wired and wireless networks.
