Abstract

Историческая изменчивость юмора, главным образом, отражается в национальных особенностях юмора. Легко уловить признаки юмора какой-нибудь нации, но дать им точную характеристику довольно-таки трудно. Каждая нация со временем приобретает свою уникальную форму юмора, созданную на основе жизненно-исторического опыта. Для того, чтобы составить адекватное представление о подлинной истории американского юмора, в данной статье мы обратились к общей истории цивилизации европейских переселенцев Нового света. Иными словами, история юмора любой нации всегда есть производное от общей истории этой же нации.
