Abstract

Elena Martellozzo, az Edinburgh Egyetem Globális Gyermekbiztonsági Intézet igazgatója, kriminológus professzora két évtizede végez úttörő kutatásokat a kiberbűnözés, az online gyermekvédelem és a digitális rendészet területén. Tudományos munkásságának középpontjában a gyermekek online kizsákmányolása elleni küzdelem, az elkövetői magatartás feltérképezése, valamint a mesterséges intelligencia és a big data etikus alkalmazása áll. Interjúnkban bemutatja a kiberbűnözés természetének átalakulását, a digitális rendvédelem új eszközeit – különös tekintettel a fedett online nyomozásra –, valamint azt, hogyan lehet a kutatási eredményeket közvetlenül beépíteni a rendészeti gyakorlatba és a szakpolitikai döntéshozatalba. Professzor asszony elkötelezett abban, hogy tudományos tevékenysége ne csupán elméleti szinten hasson, hanem valódi társadalmi változások előmozdítója legyen – különösen a gyermekek védelme érdekében az online térben.
