Abstract

El proceso de integración de las personas sujetas de protección internacional en México es un fenómeno social en auge, que está sujeto al marco normativo e institucional de los distintos órdenes de gobierno. Sin embargo, aún son escasos los estudios e investigaciones que han observado de manera empírica este fenómeno en nuestro país. Por tal motivo, el objetivo de este capítulo es conocer las diferentes aristas del proceso de integración de esta población en Jalisco y concretamente en el amg, así mismo, intenta dilucidar los obstáculos y actos de discriminación que sufren las personas refugiadas en su búsqueda de una solución duradera para su proyecto de vida. El método de investigación es el estudio de caso, y la técnica principal es la entrevista estructurada. La unidad de análisis son personas sujetas de protección internacional que viven en el AMG. Se concluye que a través de actos de discriminación perpetrados en contra de la población sujeta de la protección internacional en Jalisco se vulneran sus derechos fundamentales a la par que dificulta y obstaculiza su proceso de integración local en el estado de Jalisco.
