Apropiación e impacto de la pedagogía amigoniana por parte de los profesionales en el proceso de reeducación de menores infractores en la Institución Educativa de Trabajo San José

Abstract

Este artículo da cuenta de cómo los profesionales de la Institución Educativa de Trabajo San José (Bello, Antioquia) perciben, comprenden y vivencian la pedagogía amigoniana en la atención actual de los adolescentes en conflicto con la ley, remitidos por el Sistema de Responsabilidad Penal para Adolescentes en Antioquia. Para ello se realizó una investigación cualitativa de corte fenomenológico, apoyada en una entrevista semiestructurada con preguntas abiertas, a fin de conocer las apreciaciones de los educadores con respecto a cuatro categorías: identidad amigoniana, pedagogía amigoniana, carisma amigoniano y adolescente en conflicto; mediante las cuales se logró contrastar las apreciaciones de los servidores amigonianos con los fundamentos teóricos que sustentan dicha pedagogía. Todo esto sirvió para identificar falencias en el proceso formativo y enunciar estrategias correctivas encaminadas al fortalecimiento de la institución en el cumplimiento de sus objetivos de formación.
