Амурский цензор С.Н. Таскин и прогрессивная газета «Амурский край»: история противостояния (1900–1907 гг.)

Abstract

The article examines the implementation of censorship in Blagoveshchensk between 1900–1907, focusing on the confrontation between censor Sergey Taskin and Georgy Klitchoglu, editor and publisher of the newspaper «Amurskii krai». This epi-sode from the history of censorship institutionalization in the Amur region demonstrates how gaps in censorship legislation during this period hindered the prosecution of editors, who abused freedom of speech, whether through administrative or criminal channels.
