Abstract

Описывается первая находка сколии-гиганта Megascolia maculata (Drury, 1773) на территории Рязанской области. Несколько экземпляров сколий (в общей сложности учтено 11 экз.) найдены в Кадомском районе. Место находки представляет собой опушку лесного массива на границе с заброшенной фермой, которая работала как цех лесопиления (о формате работы свидетельствуют многочисленные древесные отходы).
