3-D model based coding-a very low bit rate coding scheme for video-conferencing

Abstract

Model based coding has recently been considered among the video coding community as a potential technique for efficient transmission of video-conferencing type sequences. We present the details of the two components of the coding scheme, the analyzer and the synthesizer, both of which employ a muscle based facial model.
