This article is devoted to highlighting issues in the development of the modern film industry in Kazakhstan. In the context of the disclosure of the problem, some concepts of the art of cinema were given concerning the main topic, cinema as an art form, the prerequisites for the birth and development of cinema, and its influence on culture were studied. The article discusses the current state and development opportunities of the Kazakh film industry, in particular aspects of the creation of cinema. The considered problems are given on the basis of the view of people involved in the creation of cinema.
