Cardiomyopathy and pregnancy: view of a cardiologist

Abstract

The article presents a cardiologist's view on various types of cardiomyopathies in pregnant women. It is shown that pregnants with cardiomyopathies require a thorough multi-pronged approach in diagnostics and choosing tactics of further observation and treatment, which contribute to a positive prognosis of pregnancy and delivery course upon condition that the early, adequate and qualified medical care is provided.
