Abstract

Gli algoritmi operano attivamente sulle piattaforme digitali che utilizziamo quotidianamente. Le app di incontri, come Tinder, impiegano algoritmi avanzati per analizzare dati personali e suggerire partner, giocando un ruolo chiave nelle opportunità romantiche degli utenti. Questo studio esamina la consapevolezza algoritmica degli utenti italiani di Tinder attraverso interviste semi-strutturate, esplorando come essi percepiscono e comprendono i meccanismi di selezione dei profili. I risultati iniziali indicano una consapevolezza parziale e spesso inesatta che dà vita a credenze e convinzioni che influenzano il modo in cui gli utenti interagiscono con la piattaforma e la loro capacità di riflettere criticamente sugli esiti inaspettati degli algoritmi.
