Abstract

(ON THE MATERIAL OF POETRICAL WORKS BY LINA KOSTENKO) The article describes different types of meanings of the word, which today are relevant in linguistic research. The main attention is paid to the analysis of the symbolic significance of onims in poetic texts of the famous Ukrainian poetess L. Kostenko. The author’s connotations, which accompany the well-known symbolism in individual names are noted in these texts. The analysis of some onyms having gained a symbolic meaning with the author’s connotations allows to state that the poetic works of the outstanding Ukrainian poet Lina Kostenko are a constant origin of the cognitive and extralingual implicit combination, which, in its turn, is essential in the linguistic researches of different meanings and senses.
