In this note conditions are derived that exclude or guarantee the quasiconvexity or explicit quasiconvexity (quasiconcavity) of sums of absolute and relative terms, and of corresponding products, too. These conditions generalize results by \textit{S. Schaible} [Z. Angew. Math. Mech. 64, No.8, 363-364 (1984)] and by the author [Wiss. Z. Martin-Luther-Univ. Halle-Wittenberg, Math.-Naturwiss. Reihe 32, No.5, 91-99 (1983; Zbl 0528.90080)].

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 5 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
