“La Escuela se quita el velo”: Primer Mundial en Medio Oriente y lecturas pedagógicas en la diversidad

Abstract

A fin de la década del 50, Frantz Fanon interroga acerca de la relación vinculante dada entre determinados fenómenos de poder, identidad, género y resistencia, y sus formas o ejercicios de simplificación/manipulación para la transmisión de la colonialidad. Tomando como préstamo el accionar de “quitarse el velo” como categoría fundamentalmente política, el presente escrito intentará desarrollar ciertas lecturas en torno a las maneras de abordar y articular lo diverso desde la institución escolar. Y esto último lo haremos poniendo como excusa y eje, para la discusión histórica, al Primer Mundial de la Copa de Fútbol acontecida en Medio Oriente como escenificación. Es desde este horizonte, como representación, el cual nos permitirá indagar sobre las aún existentes relaciones de desigualdad que siguen operando entre occidente y oriente, y que la Escuela, de manera urgente, podría colaborar a contrarrestar.
