Two-Level Linear Programming Problems with Two Decision-Makers at the Upper Level: An Interactive Fuzzy Approach

Abstract

El enfoque de programación difusa interactiva se puede utilizar para abordar los problemas de programación de dos niveles si existe una relación de cooperación mutua entre los tomadores de decisiones. En este enfoque, se obtiene una solución satisfactoria teniendo en cuenta el nivel mínimo de satisfacción del tomador de decisiones en el nivel superior. Además, el equilibrio de satisfacción general entre el tomador de decisiones en el nivel inferior y el tomador de decisiones en el nivel superior debe ser apropiado. En este documento, la programación difusa interactiva se utiliza para lograr una solución satisfactoria para un problema de programación lineal de dos niveles con dos tomadores de decisiones en el nivel superior. El método está diseñado de tal manera que ambos tomadores de decisiones en el nivel superior logran sus niveles mínimos de satisfacción junto con el equilibrio de satisfacción apropiado entre el tomador de decisiones en el nivel inferior y cada tomador de decisiones en el nivel superior. Se da un ejemplo numérico para ilustrar el método. Además, se indica que un programa de tres niveles puede considerarse como un programa de dos niveles con dos tomadores de decisiones en el nivel superior.

L'approche de programmation floue interactive peut être utilisée pour résoudre les problèmes de programmation à deux niveaux s'il existe une relation de coopération mutuelle entre les décideurs. Dans cette approche, une solution satisfaisante est obtenue en tenant compte du niveau de satisfaction minimum du décideur au niveau supérieur. En outre, l'équilibre de satisfaction global entre le décideur au niveau inférieur et le décideur au niveau supérieur doit être approprié. Dans cet article, la programmation floue interactive est utilisée pour parvenir à une solution satisfaisante pour un problème de programmation linéaire à deux niveaux avec deux décideurs au niveau supérieur. La méthode est conçue de telle sorte que les deux décideurs au niveau supérieur atteignent leurs niveaux de satisfaction minimum ainsi que l'équilibre de satisfaction approprié entre le décideur au niveau inférieur et chaque décideur au niveau supérieur. Un exemple numérique est donné pour illustrer la méthode. En outre, il est indiqué qu'un programme à trois niveaux peut être considéré comme un programme à deux niveaux avec deux décideurs au niveau supérieur.

The interactive fuzzy programming approach can be used to address two-level programming problems if a mutually cooperative relationship exists between the decision-makers.In this approach, a satisfactory solution is obtained by taking into account the minimum satisfaction level of the decision-maker at the upper level.In addition, the overall satisfaction balance between the decision-maker at the lower level and the decision-maker at the upper level must be appropriate.In this paper, interactive fuzzy programming is used to achieve a satisfactory solution for a two-level linear programming problem with two decision-makers at the upper level.The method is designed in such a way that both decision-makers at the upper level achieve their minimum satisfaction levels together with the appropriate satisfaction balance between the decision-maker at the lower level and each decision-maker at the upper level.A numerical example is given to illustrate the method.Moreover, it is indicated that a three-level program can be considered as a two-level program with two decision-makers at the upper level.
