Abstract

Nicel boş zaman çalışmalarında klasik frekanscı yaklaşım çok yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Öte yandan, farklı bir paradigma olarak Bayes teoreminin alanımızdaki çalışmalarda yeterince yer almadığı görülmektedir. Günümüzde bilgisayar teknolojisinin gelişmesi Bayesyan istatistiklerinin yazılımlarda yer almasını kolaylaş- tırmıştır. Bu çalışmada boş zaman motivasyonunun değişkenlerinden içselleştirme ve bilmenin Bayesci ve frekanscı istatistik kapsamında cinsiyete ve çalışma durumuna göre nasıl değişkenlik gösterdiği bağımsız örneklemler t testi ile incelenmiştir. Bayesci yaklaşımın klasik yaklaşıma ek olarak nicel araştırmalarda kullanılması, alanımızdaki araştırmalardan elde edilecek çıkarımları güçlendirebilecektir.
