The application of finite elements method for characterization of process variable in operations of metal sheet tension

Abstract

The paper presents modification of rigid-plastic finite element model of sheet metal forming in case of orthotropy of plastic properties of sheet metal. The paper outlines the results of computational and experimental investigation of sheet metal and yellow metal tension under large plastic deformation.
