ЯСАЧНАЯ ПОЛИТИКА И КРЕЩЕНИЕ «ИНОРОДЦЕВ» В ВОСТОЧНОЙ СИБИРИ

Abstract

Статья посвящена процессу христианизации территорий Восточной Сибири как одному из элементов государственной политики, направленной на экономико-административное освоение края. Автор рассматривает вопросы крещения в контексте предоставляемых государством льгот, когда неофиты освобождались от оплаты основного налога – ясака, что способствовало увеличению формально православного населения. Участие государства в регулировании процесса христианизации этносов Восточной Сибири, как полагает автор, явилось основной причиной его перманентности на протяжении XVII – начала ХХ вв.
