Abstract

Узлы щитовидной железы часто встречаются у здоровых людей. Лишь небольшая часть из них может оказаться злокачественной. Реальным испытанием становится определение различий между доброкачественными и злокачественными узлами. Ряд национальных профессиональных ассоциаций предложил алгоритмы диагностики и лечения. Практические аспекты этих рекомендаций освещены в статье в виде вопросов и ответов. Специальное внимание было уделено ультразвуковым диагностическим критериям риска злокачественности и протокола представления данных. Также последовательно, шаг за шагом, обсужден подход к активному наблюдению и хирургической тактике

Вузли щитоподібної залози часто трапляються у здорових людей. Лише невелика частина з них може виявитися злоякісною. Реальним випробуванням стає визначення відмінностей між доброякісними і злоякісними вузлами. Низка національних професійних асоціацій запропонувала алгоритми діагностики та лікування. Практичні аспекти цих рекомендацій висвітлені в статті у вигляді запитань і відповідей. Спеціальна увага була приділена ультразвуковим діагностичним критеріям ризику злоякісності та протоколу представлення даних. Також послідовно, крок за кроком, обговорений підхід до активного спостереження і хірургічної тактики.

Thyroid nodules are common findings in healthy people. Only small minority of them may appear malignant. The real challenge is to differentiate benign and malignant nodules. There are some national professional associations proposing optimal algorithms for diagnostics and treatment. Practical aspects of these recommendations are described in this article in view of questions and answers. Specific attention was paid to ultrasound diagnostic criteria of malignancy risk and data presentation protocol. Approach to active surveillance and surgical strategy was also discussed in step-by-step manner
