Abstract

Pretendemos discutir, neste texto, dimensões teóricas e metodológicas da relação entre as práticas de construção do conhecimento sociológico e as possibilidades da informática para o trabalho de pesquisa social, a partir de uma reflexão sobre as possibilidades de uso das diferentes ferramentas informacionais e a indicação das transformações nos processos cognitivos da investigação sociológica que estão ocorrendo na sociedade informacional.This article is aimed at discussing theoretical and methodological dimensions among practices for sociological knowledge building and the possibilities of computer science for social research work. The text is a reflection about the potential use of the different informational tools an the changes in cognitive processes of sociological investigation currently under way in informational society.
