Abstract

Estudo da literatura brasileira em Bibliometria, no período de 1972 a 1983, analisando os autores e fases mais produtivos, as leis de maior índice de aplicação e suas respectivas áreas. São levantadas as Instituições geradoras, assim como os canais de comunicação mais utilizados na disseminação dos trabalhos. A partir da identificação dos autores pioneiros é construída uma rede de difusão e transferência de abordagem bibliométrica, entre orientadores e orientandos. A análise conclui que há tendência elevada na aplicação da lei de Bradford como base para política de aquisição e que poucos são os autores brasileiros que apresentam contribuição significativa para o avanço da Ciência da Informação. Abstract Study of Brazilian literature on Bibliometrics in the period of 1972 to 1983, analysing the most representativo authors and stages, the laws of greatest index of application and their respective areas. The generator Institutions, as well as the channels of communication more used in the paper dissemination are surveyed. From the Identification of pioneer anthors a network of dissemination and transfer of bibliometrics approach is formed among advisors and persons to be advised. Through the analysis it is concluded that there is a high trend in the application of Bradford's law, as a basis for acquisition policy andonly few Brazilian authors present significant contribution toward the improvement of the Information Science area.
