Avaliação de genótipos de guandu [Cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp]

Abstract

Com vistas ao inicio de um programa de melhoramento de Guandu, 25 genótipos foram avaliados na FCAV-UNESP de Jaboticabal, SP, no período de dezembro/87 à janeiro/89. As características agronômicas e nutricionais avaliadas foram: dias para o florescimento, cor de flor, hábito de crescimento, tipo de inflorescência, maturação, altura de planta, altura do 1° galho, tamanho de vagem, cor de sementes, peso de 100 sementes, % de óleo e % de proteína. Destacaram-se entre os genótipos avaliados devido à precocidade, possibilidade de colheita mecânica e alto teor de proteína o L6-ESALQ e o ICPL-87.
