PENGARUH PERSONALITY DAN SHOP ENJOYMENT TERHADAP IMPULSE BUYING BEHAVIOR YANG DIMEDIASI IMPULSE BUYING TENDENCY

Abstract

Meningkatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi serta kebutuhan konsumen menyebabkan masyarakat khususnya di Denpasar mulai beralih berbelanja dari pasar tradisional ke toko ritel modern yang menawarkan konsep one stop shopping. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada konsumen Hypermart Mallbali Galeria yang berdomisili di Kota Denpasar. Ukuran sampel yang diambil sebanyak 114 orang dengan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis path serta uji sobel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing variabel personality dan shop enjoyment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap impulse buying tendency. Penelitian ini juga menyatakan impulse buying tendency secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap impulse buying behavior, selain itu impulse buying tendency juga secara signifikan memediasi hubungan personality terhadap impulse buying behavior serta shop enjoyment terhadap impulse buying behavior. Penelitian menemukan bahwa masing-masing variabel personality dan shop enjoyment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap impulse buying behavior. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan studi lanjutan dan menambah referensi terkait variabel yang diteliti serta menjadi pertimbangan bagi Hypermart Mall Bali Galeria dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen.
