Abstract

Fue alumno y discípulo del gran lingüista vasco Jon Landaburu quien llegó a Colom- bia hace más de 40 años. Landaburu estudió Filosofía y Lingüística en la Sorbona en París bajo la orientación del distinguido lingüista Pottier. A mediados de los 80 creó y dirigió el programa de maestría en Etnolingüística en la Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, institución prestigiosa, trabajó de la mano con reconocidos antropólogos como Carlos Castaño Uribe, Gerardo Ardila.
