Resistencia a los antimicrobianos de Enterococcos aislados de leche cruda

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar el patrón de resistencia de cepas de Enterococcus aisladas de leche cruda producida en el estado Zulia, positiva a la presencia de antibióticos, frente a un grupo de antimicrobianos betalactámicos, aminoglicósidos, fluoroquinolonas, macrólidos, lincomicina y quimioterápicos. En 200 muestras de leche se detectó la presencia de inhibidores microbianos por el método del cloruro de trifeniltetrazolio, identificándose los que eran antibióticos con el método del Disco Ensayo. Las 45 muestras positivas a la presencia de antibióticos fueron sembradas en agar sangre humana con el fin de aislar las cepas caracterizadas como cocos Gram positivos por morfología celular y tinción de Gram. La identificación de especie se realizó con pruebas bioquímicas. Se aislaron 17 Enterococcus, siendo las especies: 7 E. avium, 4 E. faecium, 2 E. durans, 2 E. faecalis, 1 E. solitarius y 1 E. raffinosus. Se realizaron a las 17 cepas pruebas de susceptibilidad a 15 antimicrobianos a través del método del disco de difusión en agar. Todas las especies mostraron resistencia múltiple al menos a tres antibióticos. E. avium fue la especie menos sensible al presentar resistencia a 12 de los 15 antimicrobianos, mientras que E. faecalis fue la especie menos resistente (3/15). El patrón de resistencia en orden descendente fue: penicilina, oxacilina, lincomicina, cefoxitin. Los antibióticos más efectivos fueron: imipenen, cefoperazone, amoxicilina/ ácido clavulanico y fosfomicina.
