PERCOBAAN KISI DIFRAKSI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN KEPING DVD DAN VCD

Abstract

Learning physics at school should be activities that involve students directly in understanding the concept of physics. To gain thiseffort, support of materials and equipments are very important. On the other hand, it is common that those supporting materials arevery expensive and very rarely found.Actually, physics can be tought by using simple material as a learning media. The use ofCDorDVD as diffraction slits is one of the physics teaching innovations. By using diffraction concept, these CD and DVD were tested toget their slit widths. The results show that the CD and DVD have slit width about 1,467.85 16.41 nm and 644.39 7.48 nm,respectively with relative error 1.16 %.Keywords: experiment equipment; compact disk; digital video disk
